Why ask Why? When we are setting our goals

Why?
Why ask why you say? Well why not! 🙂

Seriously though it is important that when we are setting our goals that we ask why do we wish to set them? Why are we wanting to doing this ? Why are we driven to do this?

Only then will it answer what we are seeking from a journey we desire to take. When we define the why, our goal, our mission in life is so much stronger. The why is the foundation and the what is the goal. Then we implement the how to do it and when we will achieve this by.

To establish our why we must also ask others why they took a certain route to achieve their goal. Seek out others that have achieved the goal you seek already and learn from them. Why re-invent the wheel? Why make the same mistakes they made when many are prepared to assist you and guide you.

The why’s , what’s, when and how’s of life are all important steps in achieving success whether in our personal or professional lives.

The next time you are asked to make a decision you will be far more informed if you ask “why?” Again, I believe the three-letter word “why” is so very important in building family and business relationships. Before I open my mouth I try to ask myself, why am I saying this? Well most of the time!

But everything in moderation especially when asking others why. Curiosity is a wonderful thing but it also killed the proverbial cat!! 😉
