Trust your gut feeling and follow your Intuition

Have you ever had a moment where you felt as though something wasn’t right? Those little voices in your head saying ‘something is not right here’ when you are evaluating a situation. That feeling deep inside ringing those proverbial warning bells without really knowing why…..a gut feeling, a hunch…… well that is your intuition.

Is your Intuition always right? The answer to this question is both yes and no. The purest intuitions are always right but those tinged by one’s own thoughts and emotions may only be partially correct or even completely wrong. With practice, one can learn to assess the intuitive experiences and identify when they are more likely to be right.

Many expect more from and trust in their intuition rather than logic. Not everything is logical but we still believe our intuition to always be right and in my experience it usually is. Whether we listen to our intuition is another matter! I did not listen to my intuition or gut feeling when making a very important life changing decision and so was sent on a journey of many of life’s lessons which proved that my initial hunch was right. Whilst in many ways, the lessons were valuable in my development, I could have done without them!

I have included here some thought provoking quotes on intuition for you to contemplate.
