The other day I saw a cutesy little video, filmed in time-lapse style speed, showing how to make hard-shell tacos without the hard shell.

Instead, the shell was made of…wait for it…fried bacon.

I know, right? ……..  Bacon-wrapped tacos.

Now, I love me a few strips of (uncured) bacon from time to time. And tacos? Don’t even get me started (especially when they are made with organic, grass-fed beef…yummy).

But, let’s be honest…nobody needs bacon-wrapped tacos. Not even me. (Especially not me).

The way I see it, you are only detracting from the deliciousness of each already-awesome treat. It seems to me that this meal would become “white noise” to the palate.

Too much, sometimes, is too much.

And that’s just about how most people approach business and life.

They try to pile on one unnecessary thing after another on their journey to “success”:
– “I just need one more webinar…”
– “I just need to download that new app…”
– “If I just get that book/course/audio/PDF, or attend that event, I’ll finally make it!”

…said no successful person ever.

“Uh, JT…YOU sell books/courses/audios/PDFs, dude! Don’t be a hypocrite…”

Great point. Except my position is never to claim my stuff is the magic bullet. And I would never submit that you need any of it.

Its about being strategic. Being intentional. Being on point and on purpose. Being focused.

Instead wrapping your life’s work in the metaphorical fried-bacon shell (I know…my mouth is watering too…), consider the better option of streamlining your business and life.

Take a more, dare I say, ‘minimalist’ approach to business.

I talk about that and more on this week’s episode of The High-Altitude Mentorship Show. Check it out:

Collecting clutter, squandering time and searching for more and more ‘stuff’ to fill the void in our lives is the opposite of a high-performance strategy.

The 4 things I share today, however, are. So if you must pile a little more on your plate, at least go for the gourmet stuff I share on today’s episode.

Listen…and if you insist on doing the whole bacon-wrapped taco thing, at least bring the guac.

Fly High. Fly Fast. Fly Far.
